Mineable Shape Optimiser (MSO)
Based on algorithms developed over a ten year period of collaborative industry research, MSO automatically produces optimized stope designs to maximize the value of recovered ore within the given orebody geometry and design constraints. Supporting a wide variety of underground mining methods, MSO quickly generates individual stope designs saving days or even weeks of manual work. The process is repeatable and objective, eliminating the risk of different engineers achieving inconsistent reserve conversion.
Summit Underground Strategic Optimisation (UGSO)
Summit UGSO takes the highly popular MSO algorithm to the Summit high performance cloud computing platform. This achieves scaling to simultaneously run hundreds or even thousands of scenarios for comparison. These may include use of conditionally simulated grade fields, multiple sub-level, stope width or other design parameters, cut-off grades, recovery, dilution and many more. Results are automatically compiled, reported and compared. The user can download the resultant shapes and use these further in more detailed design and scheduling processes in Studio 5D Planner.

Studio 5D Planner
Studio 5D Planner is the world’s leading integrated design and scheduling package for underground mines. A structured workflow guides the user through the design and data preparation process, with extensive automation making the process extremely efficient and robust. Mine standards are incorporated in templates, and multiple users can work on portions of the mine simultaneously. Studio 5D Planner dynamically links to EPS, the intuitive Gantt chart scheduling application that is used to apply practical constraints such as work calendars and equipment resource levelling.
Enhanced Production Scheduler (EPS)
EPS is a comprehensive Gantt chart scheduler designed specifically for mining, with industry-specific functionality not available in off-the-shelf schedulers such as weighted average grades, equipment and crew resources and optional modules for blending and optimisation. EPS is dynamically linked to Studio 5D Planner, but can also be used in a stand-alone mode where visual animation of schedules is not required.
Schedule Optimisation Tool (SOT)
