We are extremely honoured to not only be featured, but to be named the ‘Best Practice Representative 2018’ by The Parliamentary Review. 

There is a saying; “If it can’t be grown, it must be mined.” Almost every part of our lives – from our clothes and homes to transport, work and leisure – is made possible through mineral extraction. Founded in 1981, Datamine is a Somerset-based developer of software for mineral exploration, geological modelling, resource evaluation and mine planning. Datamine fosters a family atmosphere in its workplace and hires engineering and geological talent from all over the world. Datamine Technical Director, Andy Lapworth, provides insight into the operation of mining software systems and the role Datamine plays in the safe and profitable functioning of mines, upon which the developed world relies.
