Datamine invites all Mining, Exploration & Geology professionals to our Australia User Conference 2018 at the renowned Peppers Noosa Resort & Villas.

There’s a training session, technical session and presentation for everyone, with topics ranging from exploration all the way through to mining operations presented by leading industry professionals as well as our specialised product managers especially flown in just for this event!

The conference runs from Wednesday 24th October to Friday 26th October packed with industry speakers, complimentary and interactive technical sessions such as drone flying, a networking dinner as well as plenty of barista coffee. If you’re looking for something more comprehensive, we are also offering training sessions on Tuesday 23rd October, just one day before the conference, so why not make it an extended trip to the beautiful Noosa and really get to know the latest Datamine software products!

EVENT PROGRAMME

With our User Conference, you have the flexibility to either attend our Speaker Presentation Sessions, or opt for a Datamine Super User Session which are interactive spaces where you can learn and share amongst fellow users about certain topics for that particular session. They both run parallel to each other so you are free to mix and match throughout the day to best suit your interests and preferences.

Prior to the official Conference commencement on the morning of Wednesday 24 October, we are offering complimentary Technical Sessions aimed to be an immersive and interactive space to demonstrate a select few of our software products.

Lastly, on Tuesday 23 October, a day before the Conference, we are also hosting an optional Training Course Day to deepen your knowledge on several of our innovative products.

TRAINING COURSE OUTLINE

Add to your professional development points and make sure you are meeting your yearly quota! Our product architects and experts are especially flying in to facilitate a choice of one-day training sessions held the day prior to the conference. Extend your stay to fully absorb what Datamine can offer you and make sure that you are upskilling in the industry’s most innovative and leading software products. Engage directly with the people who turn your ideas into reality and really get a sense of what the software is, how it is designed and where it is headed in the future.

Each course will take you through our most recent features via a practical and engaging real-life worked example. Training topics span from creating a block model utilising our new implicit modelling functionality, schedule optimisation, blast optimisation to an introduction to Studio EM. This is the perfect opportunity to get your hands dirty, mix work with play and be the office software expert.

Each course includes Morning Tea, Lunch & Afternoon Tea to keep you refreshed and re-energised. A limited number of laptops are also available if you do not have one at hand.

Please note: Training Course must be attended as an extension of the Conference, it cannot be attended as a stand-alone course. Airport Transfers To Conference Venue

The conference venue is approximately 136km from the Brisbane Airport and 30km from the Sunshine Coast Airport.

The conference venue has recommended Con-X-Ion for transfers to and from the Airport.

Private Transfers cost $285 one-way.
