CEO Succession at Datamine

Datamine is pleased to announce the appointment of Dylan Webb as its new CEO, effective 18th August 2020.
Dylan has been a member of Datamine’s leadership team since 2010 and will take over from Damian McKay, who has led the company through a period of significant growth over past 9 years. Damian remains with the Vela business, Datamine’s parent company, having has accepted the role of CEO of Vela Software, a wholly owned Operating Group of Constellation Software Inc (TSX:CSU). Announcing Dylan’s appointment, outgoing CEO Damian McKay said “Dylan is a qualified mining engineer who has a passion for mining software. He has been a key contributor to Datamine’s growth through enhancing our software and a series of acquisitions. He is well placed to lead the company through its next phase of development and expansion.”
