Datamine are excited to be holding a 1-Day Technical Symposium at the Mercure Hotel in Perth CBD Friday 14th December. The event will cover 3 concurrent streams for Geology, Open Pit and Underground Engineering and the format for each session will include a general overview of Datamine's solution offering in the respective field as well as a detailed overview of the short-medium term roadmap. A detailed technical session will then follow as outlined in the agenda below. 

The event is free to attend and would be best suited to any current users of Datamine's mining and geology software or geologists and engineers who are interested to know more technical detail about our mining and geology solutions. Please note that registrations will close on Friday 7th December.

Description: A worked example of using Datamine’s optimisation and design software to take a resource model through an LG optimisation for the ultimate pit and then designing a few pit scenarios before creating reserve blocks and an NPV optimised medium term schedule using the CPLEX engine in the Datamine’s autoscheduler.

Forrest is a Geology Consultant based in Datamine's Perth office. Prior to taking on this role, Forrest was a Resource Geologist at Silverlake Resources Daisy Milano Operation.

Arul is a Mining Consultant based in Datamine's Perth office. Prior to taking on this role, Arul was a Short Term Planning Engineer and Drill and Blast Engineer at Evolution's Frog's Leg operation.

Pedro Ladeira

Pedro is a Mining Consultant based in Datamine's Perth office. Prior to taking on this role, he was based in Datamine's Brazil office.  Whilst working in Brazil, Pedro implemented Studio OP across Vale's iron ore operations.
