Datamine is pleased to announce they have agreed to terms with Co-founders of The University of Western Australia’s (UWA) Energy & Resources Digital Interoperability Industry 4.0 (ERDi i4.0) Testlab Enterprise Transformation Partners (ETP), along with UWA, with respect to collaborating on a Proof of Concept (POC) of the AMIRA P1208 Project.
Demand for operations software has driven Datamine’s entry into solutions covering survey, ore control, drill and blast, inventory management, logistics, metal accounting and laboratory automation, through a combination of internal R&D and acquisitions. Its most recent acquisition of Snowden in July 2020 extends Datamine’s offering to include highly regarded advisory services for mining studies, investment analysis and due diligence.
“The UWA ERDi i4.0 TestLab is excited to welcome yet another global leader in the mining software space on board. We’ve worked with the Datamine team in enhancing their Inventory Management Software package to support the latest versions of the ISA-95 and B2MML standards and have implemented this solution into operations as part of a larger ISA-95 based integrated architecture” said ETP Managing Director John Kirkman.
“It’s exciting to see a vendor whom was a core part of the world’s first implementation of the latest versions of the standard, now being able to leverage that investment in a project such as the AMIRA P1208, where they will be able to demonstrate and show case their software interoperating with other ISA-95 aligned software packages in front of a captive audience of Mining companies seeking to identify and implement interoperable solutions” Mr Kirkman added .
Datamine’s CEO, Dylan Webb said “Datamine is excited to be involved in UWA ERDi i4.0 TestLab, where we can build upon recent success with ISA-95 and B2MML standards for integration. Through this involvement we can showcase the benefits of this approach and continue to lower the time and cost of digital inventory management software implementations.”
Further P1208 POC 1 software vendors will be announced in the near future.
