As this extraordinary year draws to a close and the holiday season arrives, I would like to extend thanks on behalf of the Datamine Group to all our customers and partners for their ongoing support through a year like no other. Despite the challenges, it has been heartening to see what can be achieved by working together with a determined mindset and willingness to adapt. At Datamine, we are passionate about the customer experience and always looking for feedback and opportunities to improve our software and service offerings. This year we invested in a mixture of major upgrades to existing products, new software applications, and the acquisition of complementary companies into our portfolio.
Here are just a few of the highlights from 2020.
Several major refresh projects were undertaken through the year. Choosing a favourite is always hard, but users of MineScape will see a striking difference when they upgrade to MineScape 2021 with its User Interface (UI) overhaul, new rapid CAD tools and significant wireframing advancements. We have also been working on a major upgrade to our CCLAS EL laboratory information management system. The streamlined user interface will help users to complete processes faster and further improve lab productivity. The Discover Mobile app has been a great success and demonstrates our approach to add mobility and microservices to existing software ecosystems. There are now over 1000 daily active users on Discover Mobile, and an increasing number of customers using the new Discover on ArcGIS Pro, which opens up enterprise and web capability for Discover users.
Our web-based version of CCLAS has advanced significantly this year and is now in active use at some of the largest mineral testing laboratories in the world. We look forward to making this system available to a wider range of customers in 2021. Datamine has worked closely with early adopters of our Studio Mapper and Studio Survey applications this year. When used in conjunction with Studio RM, OP and UG, there is a seamless flow of data through the entire technical services department on a single platform for all geology, engineering and survey tasks. Each application provides user-centric specialised interfaces for the specific role type, automating tasks and improving efficiency. Our first Commodity Trading customers have gone live using the new MineMarket CTRM product, built on the proven foundations of MineMarket. We are excited to offer this extension into commodity trading to producers that have added trading to their business model, as well as servicing the market for specialist commodity traders.
During the year we saw the addition of Minemax and Snowden to our group, strengthening our existing offerings in open pit planning, geostatistics and reconciliation. Providing a seamless user experience across these applications with the Datamine product range has been a priority in R&D and you will see further advancements in 2021 releases. We approach 2021 with optimism as we continue the journey of growth and investment, delivering greater value for customers and improving our service capabilities.
Datamine wishes you and your colleagues and families the very best for a happy, healthy and successful 2021.
