Studio UG Update
Development on Studio UG continues apace with internal testing processes recently focused on open stoping, benching and sub-level caving mining methods.
Throughout June and July, Datamine consultants will be working directly with customers to validate site data sets ahead of full public release. Just some of the benefits the upcoming Studio UG product has over prior releases of Studio 5D Planner include a fully refreshed 64-bit 3D design environment with multiple viewports, single step processing of all designs and evaluations, simple updating of partial design changes and streamlined EPS integration. The Outlines design type for conventional ‘grid’ and ‘cut and fill’ mining are undergoing a complete overhaul and are expected for customer preview late in the third quarter of 2018.
