Studio UG

Design, Schedule & Optimisation

Studio UG is the brand new technology leading the way for integrated design and scheduling in underground mines. Extensive automation of data preparation delivers an extremely efficient and robust system for delivering design data to your scheduling environment. Mine standards are incorporated in templates, and multiple users can work on portions of the mine simultaneously. Studio UG is dynamically linked to EPS, the intuitive Gantt chart scheduling application that is used to apply practical constraints such as work calendars and equipment resource levelling.

EPS

Enhanced Production Scheduler

Carry out all activities associated with scheduling and monitoring critical resources – EPS is Datamine’s powerful mining package with a full Gantt chart scheduler built specifically with industry-specific functionality not available in off-the-shelf schedulers. The difference is in its additions such as weighted average grades, equipment and crew resources and other optional modules for blending and optimisation. EPS is dynamically linked to Studio 5D Planner & Studio UG, but can also be used in a stand-alone mode where visual animation of schedules is not required.

Ventsim™ was originally introduced to mining operations in 1993 to help visually design, improve and optimise underground mine ventilation systems. The new Ventsim Visual™ ventilation software was released in 2009 and offers a graphically rich and dynamic 3-dimensional simulation environment. This version has been continuously improved, culminating in the highly advanced recent release of Version 5.
